What is gym etiquette you might ask.  Just about anywhere you go , there are rules. Yes,, even the gym or health club that you pay a rather nice fee to be a member of. 
For some people rules are rather obvious, but for others they do not make sense, or rather they may not think about certain things they should do while at the gym.  Like the guy ( or girl ) who comes to the gym to throw some heavy weight around, then leaves the huge plates on the machines, or the dumbells on the ground.. I mean  HELLO ! does your mom work here? and would she actually pick up after you? 
And what about the bench someone just got done using, and there are sweat marks running up and down the whole thing. Now that is just gross. I dont know about you, but i would rather not lay in someone elses  sweat. 
Many gyms give you a list of rules and regulations when you join, or the rules might be posted, but you would think most of these things are common sense. I am going to list a couple rules that should be used at gyms, not only for health reasons, but for common courteousy. 
Rack your weights
clean up your sweat
dont be a machine hog
dont interupt someones workout
dont grunt toooo loud :)
dont tell other people how to lift, ( unless they ask)
dont talk badly about trainers, or aerobics instructors ( everyone has been taught differntly, and unless you are perfect you have no room to talk )
dont be on your cell phone the whole time you are working out ( i mean really, are  you here to workout or gossip )
dont over flex in the mirrors  ( save that for your bathroom mirror :) )

These are really just a few that I could think of, If you have any pet peves at the gym, please let me know,, I would love to hear them.. We are all guilty of something, so make sure you do your best to clean up after yourself, and to be curteous to others.  cya at the gym !!
