It never ceases to amaze me that everytime I go to the gym I see people going through the motion, but not accomplishing anything.. There are people who go to the gym and do the same thing every time. Then I see people attempting to do weights.. They will come over, pick up a dumbell and do one set, thinking that will help.. Well I hate to tell you that it probably wont accomplish much to do one set of curls.
When going to the gym, before you even walk in the door, you have got to have a plan. If not, you are really just spinning your wheels, running in circles, like a hampster on a wheel, never making it anywhere.
How do you go about making a plan? There is an awesome tool now, called the internet!! I cannot begin to tell you how much knowledge there is out there to learn. If reading about working out confuses you, talk to someone.. Personal trainers can help you set a goal, then map out a short term plan, and a long term plan to get there. If you do not set a plan to succeed, you will deffinately fail. And who wants to fail? Or waist time?
Please do yourself, and me a favor,, Have a Plan!! Deterine what you want, and what it will take to get there.. Then go to the gym and walk in, and know exactly what you need to do to get to goal. It will come so much faster for you if you know what you are doing.. :)
